Flushing Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital, located in the city’s most culturally diverse borough.

FHMC is a certified stroke center and was recently recognized for excellence in pulmonary care, L&D, general surgery, and OBGYN services. A wide variety of services are offered including the Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women’s Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit.

The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, started in 2020, is the first pharmacy residency program in Queens. The program has 1 resident.
