Flushing Hospital prides itself on the superior care provided by our staff. On occasion however, some patients or family members have concerns or further questions about the treatment or care being offered. For these instances Flushing Hospital offers a sympathetic ear to listen and to help navigate all issues. During weekday hours, most issues can be resolved by front-line managers directly involved in patient care. In some cases, departmental directors or chairpersons are consulted to help reach a resolution.

Patient Advocate

In addition to a leadership group dedicated to ensuring optimal patient care, Flushing Hospital also employs a patient advocate. The Patient Advocate acts on behalf of the patients’ needs. The responsibilities of the Patient Advocate are to resolve all patients- issues, document any grievances and forward them to the executive office for a proper review. To contact the patient advocate, please call 718-670-5386.
