Health Insurance Programs for the Uninsured

Flushing Hospital is committed to providing quality health care services to its patients regardless of age, gender, national origin, socio-economic status, immigration status, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation.

Patient who are uninsured, or who believe they do not have the ability to pay for their medical services, can inquire about applying for medical coverage through various health insurance programs. These programs include Medicaid, Child Health Plus and/or subsidized qualified health plans that can purchased through the New York State health insurance exchange. There are trained professionals located on- campus at the hospital that can assist patients in applying for insurance through those programs.

A financial representative will happy to assist you in identifying what program(s), if any, is available to you based on your current circumstance.
