Visiting Hours

Flushing Hospital Medical Center offers patient visitation on all of our inpatient nursing units between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

  • Visitors must be free of fever, rash, cough, cold and any other contagious illness. No visitors displaying symptoms of illness are permitted to visit.
  • As per NYS guidelines, all visitors who have traveled from states or countries experiencing high rates of COVID-19 infections are mandated to quarantine for 14-days and may not enter the building.
  • Only 1 visitor is permitted per day per patient. All visitors must be a minimum of 18 years old.
  • All visitors must remain at the patient’s bedside for the duration of their visit.
  • All visitors must adhere to proper hand washing and social distancing recommendations and must comply with hospital policies including having their temperature taken upon arrival as well as wearing a surgical mask. Failure to do so will result in the revocation of all visiting privileges.
  • All adult visitation in the hospital’s Emergency Department is currently suspended.
  • We encourage family members who cannot be present for our normally scheduled visiting hours to utilize the hospital’s virtual visitation technology.
  • All individuals must understand that patient visitation poses a risk of exposure to infectious diseases, including COVID-19 for the visitor as well as the patient.
