Welcome to the New Beginnings Mother-Baby Unit at Flushing Hospital Medical Center.

Providing high-quality healthcare is at the center of everything we do. We aim to create a safe, relaxing, and comfortable environment for moms and their newest arrivals. These factors were carefully considered when we designed each room to offer you nothing but the best and meet your needs.

Our newly renovated suites feature modern, spacious, private rooms and ADA-compliant bathrooms with showers. Each room is furnished with sleeper beds to accommodate your designated support person’s overnight stay and an electronic information board and bedside tablet for moms.

Flushing Hospital’s New Beginnings Unit is also equipped with an enhanced air circulation system, and all rooms are able to provide negative pressure. This is extremely important for patient safety.

Furthermore, our mother-baby unit is staffed by caring and compassionate healthcare professionals who are highly trained in their fields of expertise. Their goal is to ensure that you have a positive experience and make welcoming your baby the most memorable occasion.
