Taking prenatal yoga classes in a yoga studio or using an exercise DVD can:<\/p>\n<p>.Improve sleep and balance<\/p>\n<p>.Reduce stress and anxiety by calming the nervous system<\/p>\n<p>.Increase strength, stamina, flexibility and endurance needed for childbirth<\/p>\n<p>.Ease lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath<\/p>\n<p>.Decrease the risk of preterm labor, pregnancy-induced hypertension and intrauterine growth restriction<\/p>\n<p>. Helps with breathwork in preparation for labor<\/p>\n<p>. Increase circulation<\/p>\n<p>Check with your doctor before starting any exercise program. &nbsp;Listen to your body and do what feels right for you. Prenatal yoga can be a great way to prepare for childbirth.
