As a nurse working on the postpartum unit, she is a strong believer in the principle of providing quality nursing care to all patients and treating each of them as an equal individual.<\/p>\n<p>Rima is bilingual in Bengali and English, allowing her to communicate with and teach patients from the Bengali community as well as other communities. She believes that better communication establishes a rapport with patients and, as a result, helps her to better serve the Flushing community.<\/p>\n<p>Rima finds her work with the New Beginnings team to be very rewarding; she enjoys being able to witness the joy her patients experience after childbirth.
