This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not chewing with the affected tooth<\/li>\n<li>Flossing or rinsing to get rid of particles that may aggravate the injury<\/li>\n<li>Temporarily covering the tooth with sugarless chewing gum or dental wax. Temporary broken tooth repair kits are also available in most drug stores<\/li>\n<li>Taking over-the-counter pain relievers<\/li>\n<li>Only eating soft foods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are a variety of ways to treat broken or chipped teeth. \u00a0They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bonding<\/li>\n<li>Tooth reattachment<\/li>\n<li>Porcelain veneers<\/li>\n<li>Dental onlays<\/li>\n<li>Dental crowns and caps<\/li>\n<li>Root canal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep in mind, the sooner you receive treatment the better.
