The question asked by many is it okay to mix two different vaccines? \u00a0According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention it is not recommended to mix vaccines unless there are extenuating circumstances where there is no availability of the first type that was administered. \u00a0One reason for this is reports have shown that people who mix vaccines will often have more severe reactions. Another reason is that not all of the vaccines use the same mechanism of action to build the body\u2019s immunity, and may not give a person the same amount of protection.<\/p>\n
