October\u2019s Employee Spotlight shines on Krizia Bodden,\nCoordinator for the daily operations of the mother\/baby units which include Neonatal\nIntensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatrics, Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) as well\nas the OB\/GYN Clinic at Flushing Hospital Medical Center (FHMC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Krizia has been an employee at FHMC for the past 12\nyears. Before becoming a Coordinator,\nshe worked as a Billing Clerk and a Registrar. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Together with her husband and three sons, Krizia loves shopping , going to movies and enjoying the\ngreat outdoors. She is dedicated to her\nreligious community and travels often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As with anyone who works caring for patients, there are\nchallenges. \u201cSince I am a mom, it is extremely hard when a patient\u2019s baby does\nnot make it. That will never get easier.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The most rewarding part of her job is, \u201cPatient satisfaction. When I see the patients happy with the care\ngiven to them and their newborn child, the reward is great.\u201d Krizia credits her departments positive\noutcome to the staff she if proud to work with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For these and so many other reasons, Krizia is our October\nEmployee Spotlight. Congratulations\nKrizia Bodden!<\/p>\n
