Department of Medical Education

The Department of Medical Education provides administrative oversight for all Undergraduate and Graduate Medical Education programs. The office is responsible for obtaining and processing immigration documentation and managing and issuing pagers, uniforms, parking permits, lockers and other necessities for both undergraduate and post-graduate medical trainees. The office of Medical Education tracks and retains all house staff schedules, maintains files on all residents and medical students, and interacts regularly with the Committee on Interns and Residents about benefits, wages and other contractual matters. The office is also responsible for the drafting of all resident academic year agreements and all GME related educational affiliation and rotation agreements. We provide support to all of our residency programs in the accreditation survey process and maintain an open door policy to all of our undergraduate and post-graduate trainees.
