Hurricane Relief Efforts

September 12, 2017

Dear Colleagues,

As you are aware, Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have caused catastrophic devastation in Texas and Florida. Our friends in these regions need our help.

Over the years, the MediSys Health Network has answered the call to lend our support in times of need by providing disaster relief. It is our philosophy that our commitment to providing assistance knows no geographical boundaries. Our organization has deployed relief crews to help victims of catastrophic events during Hurricane Andrew in Homestead Florida, Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana and Mississippi and of course closer to home during Hurricane Sandy, the ice storms in Watertown New York and during the 9/11 World Trade Center disaster in New York City.

We are once again ready to help those in need. We are currently preparing to deploy our experienced staff to assist in the Hurricane relief efforts and we need your support.
The MediSys Hurricane Relief Fundraising Campaign has been created to raise the funds needed to help us reach our objective of sending employees to provide assistance in the areas affected by the hurricanes.

All employees or their family and friends who are interested in making a secure, voluntary donation can do so by going to www.Jamaica Hospital.org- or- www.FlushingHospital.org and clicking on the Hurricane Relief Fund link. Donations can also be made in person by visiting the Public Affairs Department or Cashier’s Office at either Flushing or Jamaica Hospital or stopping by donation tables that are setup at both hospitals.
